Murdered grad student was hunted, gang members say

A sad but true story of a promising graduate student, who was gunned down because he was white and easy pickings for the Denver Crips gang. The murderers had been arrested for previous attacks on whites but were released and went on to murder Andrew Graham a few weeks later. But, it gets better – not only have these gang members confessed, but the police are still to arrest them! Yeah – that’s the type of justice I’m talking about!

DENVER – A graduate student was murdered in Centennial last fall by a juvenile gang member who followed him to try and get money, 9Wants to Know has learned from search warrants which detail first-hand accounts of the murder by other gang members.

Despite the first-hand reports and admissions from the gang members, no one has been arrested for Andrew Graham’s murder in Centennial last November.

“This is an on-going and active investigation,” said Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson, who is leading the murder case. “We will do it right, we will ensure that we conduct our business within the policies and procedures of my office, within the guidance of the criminal justice system. We will do it right, and right often doesn’t mean quick. But it will be right.”

The 23-year-old graduate student was targeted because the Denver Crips gang wanted to rob a “white” person and Graham “looked like he might have money,” according to the affidavits.

Graham was gunned down in the early morning of Nov. 6, 2009 and discovered in the front yard of a home in a neighborhood near the Park Meadows Mall in Centennial. He was going home after looking for a place to live in Boulder where he had just been handpicked by his professors to take part in a new master’s program for mathematical engineering at the University of Colorado.

In a polygraph interview with Denver Police on Dec. 9, gang member Clarissa Lockhart said she and four other gang members followed Graham after he got off the light rail and went down a busy street for two blocks.

Lockhart said gang member Allen Ford spoke to Graham. Lockhart says another gang member nicknamed “Baby Low” then shot and killed Graham.

Another gang member, who is a minor, told investigators he was responsible, directly or indirectly, for providing weapons to Baby Low and said Baby Low told him he was the shooter, according to the affidavits.

9Wants to Know has learned some of the gang members involved in Graham’s murder were part of the racially-motivated violent attacks on white people in Lower Downtown Denver and along the 16th Street Mall last summer, according to the affidavits.

Denver Metro Gang Task Force members say the Crips were targeting white individuals for robberies for about six months before Graham’s death. Police say the gang was responsible for robbing, assaulting and attacking as many as 26 people during that time.

That investigation led to the arrest of 31 people, including Crips gang members.

Ford and Lockhart allegedly confessed to taking part in the crimes.

However, 9Wants to Know has learned Denver Police did not arrest Ford in the attacks at that time and reduced the charges against Lockhart.

That meant they were out of jail roaming free months later in November when they headed south with three others and attacked Graham.

According to the affidavit, Baby Low allegedly shot Graham once. The bullet and gun have not been recovered, according to the sheriff’s department.

Denver Police arrested Lockhart and Ford later on Nov. 19 in connection with the robberies and assaults. That was 13 days after Graham’s murder.

9Wants to Know asked the Denver Police chief, the Denver District Attorney’s office and the Arapahoe County District Attorney to comment on the delay in arresting and charging at least two of the gang members in the initial attacks, which may have prevented Graham’s murder.

All agencies declined to comment.

Sources say Baby Low is in custody. Ford is also in jail, charged in connection with last summer’s hate-crime spree. Ford also declined to comment about this story.

  1. Can you just imagine the media circus this would create if the victim had been black and the gang members white? WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE????

  2. I really enjoy your blog,it really is a proper way to get the truth out , i think that these blogs with racial slurs will just be avoided because of mainstream ideas and conditioning about it being bad to be racially orientated etc.It is only my view but i think creating anger and hatred will cause more problems than solve them.Your approach is factual and asks hard hitting questions.Your method will in my view attract a wider audience. It is amazing how people the world over are waking up to social conditioning about racial issues and others.I honestly think humanity is not ready to see itself as homogenous and liberal attempts to immpose the multicultural agenda will lead to death and disaster,or shoulld i say more death and disaster.
This “modern” way of thinking by so called loving liberals is a system so bad it can be described as evil. It is the wolf in sheeps clothing.Maybe a thousand years from now we can achieve it and live happily ever after. But it is completely dangerous to impose often ireversable social engineering on humanity without proper science and testing and in most cases without the real consent of the people involved.people are still prone to war and by idiotic racial mixing the battlefield is moved into neighbourhoods. An example is letting muslims into Europe whilst fighting the war on terror. This is so stupid it defies all logic. Pretending the problem doesnt exist is like a cancer patient not going for treatment and hoping all will sort itself out.
it doesnt matter if we agree on all points we are on the same side and i salute you people that take time and effort to become the spokespeople for logic.
    Thank you for the blog.

  3. @Anon – thanks for your support. I agree with most of your points. The problem with liberals is that they have this vision of utopia, with no idea of how to get there. My question is this: once we've reached this perceived utopia, what then? No one ever asks this question. They don't like rich people because apparently, they are the root of all evil. So, once there aren't any rich people left, what then? Do they seriously think that all the evils will just magically disapear when the wealth has been redistributed? Can they not see that the world will be worse off because no one would be motivated to achieve anything? Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

  4. @Joe – yes, imagine the outrage. The same outrage that we see when GOP fundraisers are assaulted outside of a fundraiser (women had her leg broken in 4 places and the male has a broken jaw and nose). Yes, can you hear the outrage??
